Here is some written feedback we’ve received from FLR students:

“After watching and listening through the material sent in the first level, I must say I am very impressed with the content of the FLR Chinese program. I found the introduction to be a very good “strategy guide” geared towards serious language learners. Every aspect of the method was made perfectly clear, and I was left with no confusion on what I need to do to be successful. I like way you detailed exactly what materials a beginner needs in order to get started, and what a learner needs to do on a week-by-week basis to be successful.

I thought the sound recordings were of good quality, spoken clearly and at a comfortable pace by a native speaker of Chinese. I appreciate receiving the text of the recordings as well, in English, pinyin, and both the traditional and simplified characters. The video tutorial on characters has encouraged me to at least give them a try. I also appreciate your willingness to respond to viewers’ questions and concerns, and how you used my feedback to improve future DVDs.

Overall I was very pleased with the breakdown of your FLR method, and would recommend the FLR “strategy guide” to any other language learner who wants to get serious and take advantage of language learning techniques designed by an actual polyglot.
