However, the goal of FLR is not just to help you learn the language of your choice. We teach through natural, proven teaching techniques to help you become an independent and motivated language learner.
Through a course in Mandarin Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Spanish, Italian or German Language Road Running, our techniques teach you the ability to:

More about the FLR DVD Courses
Foreign language learning requires much more than classtime and repetition. FLR’s DVD set provides not only the building blocks of communication, but also FLR’s proven, unique methods which unlock language mastery. The DVD course was created to act as both a supplement to current FLR students and as a powerful aid to any independent or university student.
The DVD course, just like FLR live classes, differentiates itself from other learning tools by showing you how to learn, instead of just what. Here’s what that means:
FLR lessons lay the foundation for your success by not only basic practice and phrases but the learning techniques that set up a long-term, fun, motivating experience. FLR teaches you how to stay on task and enjoy it, because it provides you with a learning regimen you won’t find anywhere else.
Lesson 1 teaches a foundation in FLR and how weekly work can turn you into an experienced speaker. There’s no grammar to begin memorizing, but instead explains the FLR learning regimen and the basics of your language.
Lessons 2 onward contain the main FLR video lessons, plus an audio CD recorded by a native speaker and the corresponding script in text format. (*Chinese/Japense students: see below.)
Each 10- to 20-minute lesson builds on the prior classes through progressively introducing more wording and structure – there is no learn-and-forget with FLR because you are repeatedly building on your knowledge – creating a natural progression and getting you in shape to communicate with native speakers.
*For Chinese, the student will get both the traditional and simplified characters, which will be carefully recorded by a native. Japanese students receive both kanji and all-hiragana scripts. One lesson specifically focuses on character stroke order).
You may purchase the lessons individually, or purchase the complete program. Students who purchase the complete program also receive personal conferences online with Moses McMormick for the duration of the course and twice after completion. In total, these 14 sessions are worth $210.
